OUR Mural
In “A Day at the Market” we give homage to the many artisans and artists whom we have worked with over the years. It portrays a typical street Mercado in Mexico and Central America. We wanted to celebrate Folk Art of the region and contribute to the Adams Avenue beautification program.
With its bright colors and beautiful items, these markets are always places of joy and happiness. It is our hope that some of this effervescence is communicated with the mural as well as in our store.
Workshops

From the beginning we decided to include the education of the community in artisan traditions as one of our priorities.
Many people bring their children to reinforce their Cultural identity and to learn the traditions; workshops are activities that the whole family can share.
We have been recognized in San Diego as a pioneer in the teaching of artisanal crafts.
